Hello! My name is Alexander Molander. A photographer based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

My photographic journey started with video on an old Cybershot camera back in early 2000. I loved to create comedy spoofs of everything around me. In 2005, I wanted to build on my video skills and started to study cinematography alongside photography. That’s when I fell in love with film photography, the darkroom and the memories it created.

I didn’t photograph with the intent of making it my job and when the smartphones became better, I mainly used those cameras until one day when I grabbed an old Nikon DSLR camera again and remember the importance of quality photography.

I started shooting parties, then I went on to portraiture of friends and friends bands. The love for photography brought me on a journey with world artists, record labels, big events, small events and people who needed portraits for the press.

I’ve loved to work with everyone I have worked with and every time some one responds to the photographs with love it warms my soul.
